Dig diary (10/10/2007)
We devoted the whole class period to digging. Since Kevin was here today we got a little more done. We dug up a wide variety of things in our part of the grid today. We found a human skull and a lot of sharp sharded rocks and a huge block of concrete (not sure if it’s an artifact or not). We went back to sifting today after a lot of finds in other parts of the grid. Some other people in our class found; a walking stick, more sharded rocks, and some sort of fence looking thing that is held together by metal. Tomorrow we will probably be finished excavating and later on in the week we will come to our conclusions of what group these items came from.
(it says I spelled 'sharded' wrong. Is there another way to spell it?)
