We had yet another day of breathtaking discoveries as we continued our excavations. First period finished excavating their pit and trekked back to the classroom with an intricate construction made of sticks and leather bands, as well as other new discoveries. Second period, having finished their dig, was engaged in numbering and photographing artifacts. Third period located several mysterious rocks, seemingly decorated by pigments, as well as many fragments of ostrich egg. Fourth period had perhaps the most intriguing discovery of all: an unidentified mud and twig object, pictured above. WHAT COULD IT BE???
