Today was our third day of excavating our sight. Anouk and I dug to ten cm. deep all around the whole until it was level. Merrill sifted through our dirt. We found three artifacts that looked like they were mini arrow heads. The rocks were white and they seemed that they crumbled easy, because we found one that was crumbled. They were chipped around the edges as if someone had tried to make the rock sharp. They came to a point at the end so that leads me to think that they were not made by natural causes. None of the other quadrants found objects like this so that leads me to think they are something special, and not usual rocks. We drew our artifacts, and where they were placed in the whole placed them in a plastic bag to keep. Hopefully soon we will find some more artifacts that help us crack the mystery of what we are digging up.
