Digging Maddie C p. 1

October second the first day of our archeology dig. Our whole class placed flags next to visible artifacts or unusual looking objects. Then we all stepped back to observe our flag placement. We decided to dig where the most flags were congregated. We girded out our land two meter by two meter with the expertise of Donna the mathematician. Then our class broke off into smaller groups of three. Anouk and Merrill are in my group. I will be the digger, with all of the dirt I dig up I place it into a bucket that Merrill will sift. Anouk will be the recorder. She will travel around with a clip board and record everything we find. And she will also draw the whole at the end of the day.
