First Day - Ryan A. - Period #1(The good one)

Dig Diary (10/2):
Today we started out by flagging all interesting items that were above ground. The flags will help us when finding the correct spot to excavate. After we finished flagging all items of interest we put a perimeter around the area with most flags. The square that we will excavate will be approximately 2x2 (meters). Since the perimeter at the moment is a very rough square (we ran out of time) we will measure the distance from the two opposite corners to make a much better square tomorrow. After we get a perfect square we will begin to make a grid.
